Southeast Community College
 Southeast Community College is one of the largest community
colleges in the state of Nebraska. It services over 10,000 students
and 2,200 employees over 5 campuses and 15 counties in
Southeast Nebraska.
 Produced the most graduates in Precision Production fields
(Computer Aided Design Drafting, Machine Tool Technology,
Manufacturing Engineering Technology) among all schools in the
U.S. over the last eight consecutive years.
 Is ranked No. 8 among a list of 786 community colleges in the U.S.
for Student Success Rate, a combination of graduation and
retention rates. 90%
 Ranks among the top 10 percent of all 1,250 community colleges in
the U.S. by the Aspen Institute, 2011 and 2012.

Regroup at Southeast Community College
Southeast Community College replaced a calling tree-based
notification system to alert affected users during emergency
situations with Regroup.
Together, Regroup and SCC launched the emergency notification
system across all campuses with a strong marketing campaign
encouraging student sign-up.
Regroup has been the ENS/EMS provider of choice over the last four
(4) years and is currently being rolled-out as a day-to-day tool to
streamline communications.

Implementation at SCC
The multi-campus implementation was managed out of the Milford
campus with multiple training sessions involving individual campus
leaders and administrators.
The smooth implementation helped build confidence with
administrators, faculty, staff, and students alike.
1st Phase 2009 - rollout to all staff/students for emergencies only
2nd Phase 2012 July – implementation of SSO and Database
Integration; Integration with Portal
3rd Phase 2013 May – day-to-day communications

integration and numerous feature changes Southeast has opted to utilize
Regroup for their day-to-day communication needs as well.
