My Favorite Pet Essay
My bunny is soft as a pillow. Her name is Luna, and she's my favorite bunny in the world. She's
also so cuddly and cute. Most importantly, she's one of my top favorite things i like about myself.
However, there are a lot of things i would like to share about myself. I would like to share the top
three things I like about myself the most. Which are my favorite pets, favorite things I like to do
outdoors/ indoors, and I love to help my friends, family and last animals. My favorite pets allow me
to pick them up and cuddle them, unlike other pets I use to have. My pet Luna is so soft and cuddly.
She is black with a little brown on her. She has brown eyes and loves to be petted; especially, behind
her ears. I got her from my friend Cate Linder. When I pick her up and there is a dog around, she
starts kicking and scratching. That is telling me to put her back in her cage. Also, when I leave
the door open she never gets out; unless, I put her harness on and we go on a walk. Luna is the
best out of all the other rabbits I use to have because the other ones never let me pet them. When
the cage door is open they always jump out and run away. When I try to pick them up, they always
try to bite me and scratch me. Also, I have a pet dog named Zurie. She is white, black, and has a
little black on her. She loves her belly rubs and will do whatever it takes just to get one. She does
tricks for us and will bring a ball so we can play together. She always chases bikes and motorcycles.

Essay on Giant Panda
What animal is black and white and loved all over the world? If you guessed the giant panda, you're
right! The giant panda is also known as the panda bear, bamboo bear, or in Chinese as Daxiongmao,
the "large bear cat." Actually, its scientific name means "black and white
cat–footed animal." Giant pandas are found only in the mountains of central China. They live
in dense bamboo and coniferous forests at altitudes of 5,000 to 10,000 feet. The mountains are
covered in heavy clouds with torrential rains or dense mist throughout the year. Giant pandas are
bear–like in shape with striking black and white markings.
The ears, eye patches, legs, and shoulder band are black. The rest of the body is whitish. Adults are

Ling–Ling, at age 23, died in December 1992.
Giant pandas are among the rarest mammals in the world. There are probably less than 1,000 left in
the wild. Although adult giant pandas have few natural enemies, the young are sometimes preyed
upon by leopards. Habitat encroachment and destruction are the greatest threats to the continued
existence of the giant panda. This is mainly because of the demand for land and natural resources by
China's 1 billion inhabitants. To offset this situation, the Chinese government has set aside 11 nature
preserves where bamboo flourishes and giant pandas are known to live.
Giant pandas are being poached, because their dense fur carries a high price in illegal markets in
the Far East. The Chinese government has imposed life sentences for those convicted of poaching
giant pandas. The low reproductive capacity of the giant panda makes it more vulnerable to these
threats, and less capable of rebounding from its low numbers. In 1984, due to its decreasing
numbers, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service listed the giant panda as an endangered species under
the Endangered Species Act. This means it is considered in danger of extinction throughout all of its
range.
This protection also prohibits giant pandas from being imported into the U.S. except under certain
conditions. What you can do to help: Join WWF (World Wildlife Foundation) and help

My Love For Animals
I have had a love for animals as long as I can remember, early evidence was the story my mother
told me of an incident in an airport when I was a toddler. We were waiting to board our plane,
when my parents noticed that other passengers kept looking under the chairs we were sitting in
and were either smiling or laughing. My parents decided out of curiosity to see what they were
looking at; it was me playing and talking to a bird under the seats. I want to become a veterinarian
not only because I love animals, but because every day is a different story, I get to help animals and
their owners/caregivers daily, and I love problem–solving and being challenged. Playing with a bird
under the airport chairs as a baby was a defining moment for my parents in seeing me have a
career dealing with animals, but my own personal moment didn't happen until several years later.
When I was a child I had a dog and a cat named Bear and Bom–Bom. They were my best friends, my
partners in crime, and my sisters. I always felt in my heart I would do anything to help them feel
better, especially when they were sick. Jump ahead 5 years later to when I was 7 years old, Bear had
puppies and my family decided to keep one; we named her Cocoa. Before long we lost Cocoa to
Parvovirus, that she contracted from the woods behind our home. I was devastated, but this tragedy
made me want to become an "animal doctor" as I called it. I wanted to find a cure for animal
diseases that would work even after symptoms

My Passion For Animals
For as long as I can remember i've always had an innate passion and fondness for and with animals.
In nearly all my photos as a child i'm always holding a kitten, cleaning a rabbit cage, holding a
newborn goat, or sitting on a horse. My parents joke about how I learned to ride a horse before I
learned to walk...it wasnt far off though. I always have known one thing though as that my passion
for farming, 4–H, and animals would be apart of my future and career. To fulfill my passion and
goals throughout highschool I have always been an active member of 4–H showing horses, dogs,
goats, as well as being a member of the Junior Leaders 4–H club, horse judging team, and
participating in non–animal projects such as sewing and photography. Through these programs I
have met many people who have helped guide me as I have made my future decisions as well as
developed many skills I plan to take with me to college.
Although I truly feel God has given me these gifts and love for animals, it has also been encouraged
by my 4–H leaders and through earlier work experiences I have been given. I have had the
wonderful experience of being homeschooled and through this it has allowed me to have a flexible
schedule. Starting when I was 12 I shadowed at the Broad Ripple Veterinary Clinic where I gained
so much veterinary knowledge and animal care practices but through this experience I also found I
didn't wish to be a Veterinarian but rather aveterinary medicine distributor. This

My Love For Animals
Throughout most of my life I have had one consistent goal; to become a veterinarian. I have had a
continuous and solid passion for animals in all respects. This passion and love has fueled my in
striving to achieve the dreams I have for myself after high school. The beginning of this story
begins long before high school though. The descent into the most challenging times of my life
began when I was in fourth grade. Not a lot of people can say they have hit rock bottom at age
nine, but I did and did not go upward for just over three years. During those years I took every
chance I got to escape a house that caused me so much pain; my favorite escape was to play with
an animal, whether it be one of my neighbors' or best friends'. I was able to cope during these
years because interacting with animals could always lift my spirits. Years went by, things got
better, and my love for animals grew. When I was fourteen I persuaded my parents to let me get a
bearded dragon, who I named Sammy. Sammy changed everything and three years later I still
have and love him. However, keeping him healthy has not been the easiest. Sammy does not have a
strong immune system; I cannot count the number of times I sat with him, fed him from a syringe,
and bathed him in warm water for hours because he was so sick. I would take him from his tank
and lay with him under the covers when the power or heat lamps went out. While this may seem
like a herculean task to some, it was common sense to me because
