LED lights have made the electricity load more efficiently. LED lights are being used in various fields with multipurpose usage and at higher rate due to it's high efficiency and accuracy.
2. The LED Revolution
• LED was invented by Oleg Losev, James R. Biard, Nick
Holonyak and it was first produced in 1968.
• LED , the Light Emitting Diode has become the best light
providing device with high efficiency.
• During the childhood days, children see LED in the small
remote controlled cars, in dolls and in small robot shaped toys.
In the teenage, they use it for various projects and even find
them in small electronic appliances for various indication
purposes.
• After the teenage duration , adults come across the home LED
Light bulbs, tube lights, etc as the light source, which is also
achieved by usage of LED lights.

5. The LED Revolution
The Nobel Prize in Physics for the year 2014 was awarded
jointly to three of them namely Isamu Akasaki, Hiroshi
Amano & Shijo Nakamura. This award was given for the
invention of efficient blue light emitting diodes which has
enabled bright and energy saving white light sources.

7. The LED Revolution
Uses of LED
• LED – Light Emitting Diode has become the best
alternative to fluorescent lights as it is efficient and more
powerful than the commonly used lights.
• LED lights are used most commonly as indicating lights in
traffic lights, in vehicles, in electronic devices and many
other applications.
• Solar Street Lights uses LED to glow up the streets.
