 A code using MALAB was formulated to implement the fuzzy min-max neural network classifier with compensatory neuron.
 The GFMNN with compensatory neurons was implemented, analyzed and compared with other FMNN and was found that a
GFMNN gives a better estimate of the classification of the input data .

 An algorithm for extracting the road map of any given high resolution satellite imagery was formulated.
 Techniques like line detection and image segmentation, image filtering etc were used to implement the algorithm.
