 The term ‘angiosperm’ derives
from the two Greek words:
angeion meaning ‘Vessel’ and
sperma meaning ‘seed’.
 Angiosperms (flowering plants)
are the largest group of plants on
Earth. Approximately 270,000
known species alive today.
