2. First Day Craziness
• Let students explore
• Let students discuss and show
• Collectively decide on non-negotiables
• Students record non-negotiables on iPad
• Clearly review all expectations
• Communicate with parents

3. Suggested Rules
• Screens covered when teacher is talking
• Hold with two hands at all times
• Store on desk furthest away from walkways
• Choose monitors for collecting/distributing
• Do not send home until students become
comfortable
4. Sending Home
• Communicate with parents
• DO NOT send home chargers
• Have a sign out system
• Check in each morning
• Do not send home for long breaks

6. Misc. Tips
• Students should record all usernames/passwords
• Do not set precedent of “playing” when finished
early
• Have clear expectations/consequences and stick to
them
• Do not get frustrated, students can figure out most
