I like it because it wasn’t a hard job and I like filing toys. First, I filed it to make it into a better shape. I filed it again after disc-sanding it because this part couldn’t be sanded/filed with the disc-sander. After filing that part, I started to file the whole outer shape to get rid of the splinters. When I finished, I started to file the corners to make it smooth and rounded, so it could be safe for the kids or anyone who uses it. It was my first time filing my material this way. Mr. Anderson taught us how to do. I first thought it was hard to make it a completely rounded corner. But, when I tried, I knew it wasn’t that hard. I felt familiar with the file. I had some problems filing the corners that are in the inner curved part. I asked Mr. Anderson how to file that part, too. <br />I had been an inquirer in this class because I asked Mr. Anderson. It was my first time for many things that we learned today. So I had many problems and questions today. My plan for the next period is to file the corners more because I haven’t done that part yet. It takes a long time to file the whole body. I also have to be careful that all the rounded parts are the same. <br />The AOI that is related for today’s class is human ingenuity because the tools we used are developed by humans and the toy we are creating are going to be used by humans.<br />
