1. Rebecca Ramsey’s Bio <br />October 2010 <br />Rebecca Ramsey has earned her master’s in marketing, communications and client relations through hands-on experiences with high quality products and services where she has been able to lend her talents to an exhaustive number of projects and campaigns.<br />With over fifteen years of marketing and communications experience, she began her own consulting business in 2010 in order to provide the best service to small businesses (typically less than 25 employees) as well as sub-contract for various marketing firms. <br />Rebecca excels in utilizing a wide range of skills to maximize efforts towards growth and reputation management in various capacities in order to maximize brand reputation and the target audience’s perception specifically in regards to: <br />Strategic Marketing & Communications planning and execution<br />Project Management<br />Organizational Management<br />Event Planning<br />Client/donor relations<br />Public/media relations<br />Writing<br />Speaking<br />E-marketing<br />Revenue generation<br />As well as tracking efficiencies of programs <br />One of her most challenging career positions was to single-handedly direct the in-house agency for Shoney’s largest franchise in the country (based on number of stores and total volume). They became the standard that all the other franchisees modeled after. <br />Rebecca’s past experiences have included a Knoxville advertising agency, where she was responsible for handling client relations, market research and media buying. She also created marketing, advertising and public relations plans for clients based on their specific scope of needs and clientele. Her organizational skills and ability to translate an organization’s marketing communications needs into business results enabled her to impact sales and brand recognition for a variety of clients. Her tenacity to exceed expectations - on time and on budget - for employers and clients is always well received.<br />Other career positions she has held include marketing-related posts at Mary Beth West Consulting, Mortgage Investors Group, Knox Area Rescue Ministries, The Knoxville News-Sentinel, Louise Mandrell Theatre and Chick-fil-A. <br />Rebecca earned her associate’s degree in marketing from Pellissippi State Community College and was recognized as the first Marketing Student of the Year. In working with a professor a structured marketing internship program was created and Rebecca was the first intern to utilize it. <br />Rebecca’s award-winning work and client list can be seen under the corresponding pages on this site. <br />Over the years, she has been involved with the local chapters of Public Relations Society of America (PRSA), American Marketing Association (AMA), and American Advertising Federation (AAF). She also volunteers her time to mentoring youth and her church activities. <br /> <br />
