they should be focused on. Especially when in a
conversation. Depending on what they consider more
important the camera might be focused on the person
talking or on the one reacting. However cutting back
between the two can show the two personalities.

sense of distress.

shows the his surroundings so you know where he is.

people can also create tension if with each cut the

Use the same methods to display their characters in
certain way but they approach the filming and editing
differently. In live action they have a master shot and
they edit closes up, etc. into that. However with
animation, there is no master shot, the editing is done
before hand. So you have to really think about how you
want your character to come across and how you want
your story to be told before animation begins.
