comparison between conventional engine and
green engine .
Advantages
Application
 By Burning of this fuels causes poisonous material
CO(Carbon mono oxide) -- 500 million tones
HC (Hydrocarbon) -- 100 million tones
C(carbon) -- 550 million tones
NO x(Nitorgen Oxide) -- 50 million tones
CO2(Carbon dioxide ) causes Green house effect
Automobile are major energy consumer and atmosphere’s
contaminator
Daily consumption of petroleum all over the world is
40 million barrel(Today)
2 million tones (Automobiles)
GREEN ENGINE
 Green engine is one of the most interesting invention for the automotive
industry
 The efficiency of this engine is high as compared to the contemporary engines
and also the exhaust emission are nearly zero
 The significance of the engine lies in the efficiency when the present world
conditions of limited resources of energy are considered
Features of green engine
 The green engine is six phase internal combustion engine
 There are no piston in this engine
 Essential features is the expansion ratio being much bigger than the
compression ratio
Six phase of green engine
 Intake
 Compression
 Mixing
 Combustion
 Power
 Exhaust
Working
 The air arrives through the air intake port and passes through the duct
that generate strongly swirls when gets compressed in the chamber
 The air from the duct is pushed into small chambers in rotor, the rotating
places the compressed air before the injector
 As soon as chamber comes in front of injector it sprays the fuel into
compressed air, this air fuel mixture sent to other end of rotor
 The spark plug ignites the air fuel mixture as soon as the whole charge
is ignited the burner rotates to position in front of narrow exit
 As the gas rushes out of the chamber through opening, the sudden
increase in volume ensures that more power is released
 As the thermal energy fully utilized, the exhaust gases bring less heat
energy. because of the complete burning of carbon-di-oxide poisonous
gases are absent
ADVANTAGE
 Small size and light weight
 Limited parts
 Multi-fuels: any liquid or gas fuels.
 Ex: methanol
 High efficiency
 Near zero emission
 Smooth operation
 Fast accelerating response
 Quietness and exhaust temperature
 Ideal to hydrogen fuel
 High reliable
Comparison between conventional
engine and green engine
High expansion ratio
Sequentially variable compression ratio
Controllable compression time
Self adapting sealing system
High working temperature
Application
 Like normal engine green engine can be employed can be employed in
automobile and in aircrafts, too.
 Engineering application
 Military use
 Mines
 Electrical generators
 Ship and submarine
CONCLUSION
Pollution is minimized by green engine
It’s a new revolutionary engine technology.
It has unique design
The limitations have not been determined to any extent
Green engine can work with large variety of fuels which makes it good
choice for using nonconventional fuels like biodiesel .
The green engine is serve the purpose too a large extent
