site and NetApp FAS3140 in Pocharam site and migrated the data to Pocharam site.
 Fabric Re-Design and Migration from old Rack to New Racks by introducing Patch Panels.

Description: All of the servers were connected to SAN switches directly under tiles which was causing
temperature issues in DC. All of the existing SAN switch ports are completed utilized though in ISL. Designed
a new Fabric solution with additional FC Patch Panels in new Racks and new Brocade 24 port SAN switches
and moved the existing SAN switches to new Racks where Patch Panels are also connected and migrated all
Fabric to new Fabrics.

I am working as storage consultant and storage lead with a team of 3 storage engineers on one of
the most critical projects configuring and supporting the complete Data Center from Storage and
Netbackup environment for a UK based health services client.
Project Contributions:
 This was the most challenging project as we had to configure the complete Data center
from Storage and Netbackup side. We are handling end to end storage activities including
the servers storage patching in physical Data Center location.
 Configured the complete Data Center solution with 2 virtual Data Centers having
Synchronous True Copy Replication and HiCommand Suite tools Hitachi Device
Manager, Hitachi Tuning Manager, Hitachi Tiered Storage manager and Replicator
Monitor.

7.  We configured 2 virtual Data Centers in the same physical location with 1 USP1100, 1
AMS1000, 1 AMS200, 1 EVA4400 storage arrays with Cisco MDS9513 directors in
each of the virtual Data Centers with Synchronous True Copy in between the USP1100
arrays in each of the virtual Data Center by introducing the latency of 30ms between the
virtual Data Centers as bidirectional DR
 We virtualized the AMS1000 array behind USP1100 storage array in each of the virtual
Data Centers.
 We Configured the Symantec Netbackup 6.5.3 environments for the backup solution of
the environment.
 We configured 2 node cluster master servers using the Veritas Cluster Service on a
Solaris 10 server in each Data Center
 We configured a new IBM 3584 tape library with 21 LTO4 tape drives with 1 logical
tape library for each virtual data center in the same physical tape library.
 We configure Hitachi Split Second backup technology and Off host backup technologies
for the critical databases using the Hitachi Shadow Image Copy Service by allocating
LUNs from USPs as P-VOLs and LUNs from virtualized AMS1000 as S-VOLs.
 We configured a New NetApp FAS3140 clusterd filers and migrated the servers from HP
EVA4400 to NetApp filers using FCP.

in Hyderabad, India. I was hired to manage the current server, storage and backup platforms, as well as
