2. New to editing software
I wasn’t very familiar to editing videos as I never did
it before so taking on this task meant I had to fiddle
with buttons and trial and error through it before I
could find what I was looking for. This was very time
consuming and did not give me perfect results as
some effects I wanted to add on I didn’t know how
to. The editing software slowed me down a lot as it
wasn’t very user friendly if you are new to it as you
had to go through many different setting functions
before uploading the video.
3. Dark days for lighting
Due to filming in the winter are filming time was cut
short due to the early darkness when filming outside.
I did not have much lighting accept a few phone
lights hence why most of the filming was needed to
be done in broad day light to give a clear shot. This
really interrupted are filming as some shots needed
to be re done a few times before getting the perfect
shot but due to the days getting dark before 5, by
the time we were set we didn’t have more then a few
hours to film a day.
4. Parking problems
when parking outside my friends house to take the
balcony shots there was limited space due to
builders designing more houses next to his, this
gave me a lot of problems and meant leaving the car
in unknown areas, resulting in a ticket. Doing the
town shot was a big problem as it was close to
Christmas so parking in town was close to
impossible so we had to take a shot driving past but
keeping a steady hand which was very hard due to
the speed bumps after every yard.
