1. Production Reflection

2. Process
• I used beep box to create my
music as it is for creating beats
that sound like there for video
games.
• I started off by doing the main
beat and then proceeded to do
the main tune going threw the
game. I then added a higher tune
over the backing to give the music
layers and definition. I wanted my
music to sound like music people
listen to at the ages of 12-18 as
that is my audience range.
• I am really happy with my music
as its quite high quality
considering there's not much you
can do with the beep box but I've
manages to make high quality
work.

3. Process
• I started by using
Photoshop to create
my menu page and the
first bit of the game
this bit doesn’t move
as it’s the background
so its was just one
layer I think that this is
a really good piece of
work as I started as it
has good detail and
you can see what its
supposed to be.

4. Process
• I then started to
animate the first
part of the game. I
started by drawing
my little character
who would be
collecting the
records I created
this on another
layer so that I could
move it without the
the full thing move.

5. Process
• On this I used the pen tool to draw a
maze and all the elements to it like the
character and the records and the
record shop I put the records and the
character on different layers so I could
move them separately every time I
moved the character I added a new
layer to the timeline so that when I
played it it would show the character
moving round the maze and also took
away the records by hiding them on a
frame and then the rest of the frames
would not have them on from that
frame so it appears to have gone this is
so when the character touches it it
looks like the character has collected
it. I like this part of my game but at the
end where it runs across the grass bit
takes time and becomes a little boring
to wait for I should have done
something here to make it more fun.

6. Process
• I finished by exporting my game
and adding the separate clips to
adobe premiere where I joined
the parts together I realised that it
had sped up my game excessively
so I went to the speed and
duration and slow it down to 40%
which made it more of a natural
speed I then dragged my music
underneath the video and clipped
it to the size I needed it at and
blended it out with the effects to
make it go smooth in and out. I
then exported it to be ready to
put on YouTube.
