2. When I first started thinking about making a short film I wanted to
make a horror as I think it would show a lot of my talents with
camera control and using different effects to make a seriously
scary film. I want to use different movements with the camera,
two of my favourite uses is the pan across and a transition threw
the camera as if the actor/actress walks into the camera and
threw it. I also want to see if I can add different positions I have
never use before.
Am quite nervous to do this as I don’t really do film a lot but also I
want my work that I produce to reflect my ability and my story.

6. Is there any repetition in the images you have collected?
Repeated colours/images styles/fonts/tone/mood
They are all horror based images with dark colours and reds
in quite a lot of the images most faces are extremely
exaggerated and made creepily out of normal form it makes
you feel scared and uncomfortable as that is something you
wouldn’t want to see. Gives you the fear of unnatural
How will your mood board influence your final product?
I want to do a horror film where most of the pictures will be
involved in my short film especially the mirror ones and the
scary person in the back
7. One of the main techniques I want to research how props can create
dialogue that isn't there so because I will not be able to use actual
speech in the film I can use different props to show what is
happening in the story.
I need to research my location as I need to make sure the areas I
use are suitable for my filming. I need to look into safety of the area
am filming or example if I film at the side of a road I need to consider
the risks of this and that I might drop equipment or fall into the road, I
also have to take into consideration that there might be other aspects
that can ruin or stop a shot from coming out as good as it can. For
example if again I was filming at the side of the road I have to
consider loud traffic and ambulance and police cars that could
intervene in the shot also people walking past might spoil the shot.
I need to research my sound tracks to make sure that my film has
something to build the tension that I cant do with speech so I need to
make sure I look at a few possibilities before choosing one so that it
really fills the gap.
