1. Maintenance Rules of Engraving Machine
First, fill oil in the linear guide rail of engraving machine
The fumes and dust produced by carving and cutting after the long-time use of engraving
machine may corrode the rail, so the regular maintenance is needed. Turn off the power of
3D engraving machine, clean the rail with a clean soft cloth, then drop the lubricating oil on
the rail, and rail roll back and forth on the slide to ensure that the lubricating oil is into the
internal slider. We have to first install the rails without fixing, because we have to fix all nails
firstly to maintain the level and then the belt and the slider can be fixed, and then install lens
dimming the path of the X light.
Second, wipe the mirror and focus mirror of engraving machine
After a period of time of using of engraving machine/ woodworking machines, smoke and
dust will adhere to the surface of the lens which will affect the depth of engraving and cutting,
will also affect the accuracy of engraving and cutting. Usually in a week or so (depending on
the use frequency of engraving machine), wipe and clean three mirrors, a focusing mirror
carefully with anhydrous alcohol.
Third, oil the bearing of laser engraving machine
Laser engraving machine uses a large number of bearings, in order to ensure good cutting
and carving effect, some bearings require regular refueling (except oil bearing), wipe the
bearing surface dust with a clean, soft cloth, suck the oil into the needle, then slowly inject it
with a needle into bearing, and you can slowly rotate bearings in the process of filling.
Fourth, adjust the elastic of timing belt of laser cutting machine
There are certain timing belts in the drive system of laser cutting machine, if the timing belt is
too loose, there will be engraving fonts ghosting, and if the timing belt is too tight which will
cause the wear of timing belt. After a period time of using, please adjust the tensioning screw
of timing belt to adjust the suitable timing belt. The ghosting will not appear in the engraving
text, and running noise of laser engraving machine should be low or you can consult the
factory technical personnel.
Fifth, the maintenance of laser tube
Laser tube in the laser engraving machine is cooled by the the use of recycled water, and
there will be some white scale in the tube for the long-term use, we can add a small amount
of vinegar in a circulating water pipe to clean up the dirty, and then clean the inner loop of the
laser tube by clean water, so that the laser tube will be in the top working condition, and life
will be extended.
