I’m planning to fly from Kota Kinabalu International Airport to Vancouver International Airport
sometime in early July this year. Does anyone know any good flight-plans or any reasonable,
cheap air-fares? I don’t mind economy, or the number of stops at various airports. Please let

Considering that they are separated by sea, I doubt it very much. Iit may be cheaper to fly via
Singapore than directly to Johor Bahru.

i visit my friend at Singapore. But i also want to visit Kota Kinabalu. so I’m wondering if there is
a bus going to Singapore form Kota KInabalu. I will also apprecaite it if I will be informed of the

Travel by bus is cheap but it is time consuming.You can take a bus from Singapore to
KL-Puduraya Bus Terminal.By bus 5 to 6 hours subject to traffic jam.To Kuala Lumpur : You
may book buses from private operators.Many of the bus operators can be found at Golden Mile
Shopping Centre. Most of the buses boards from Golden Mile,Beach Road or Lavender street
(all within walking distance from Lavender MRT station).Transnasional (Malaysia’s biggest long
distance bus company) can be found at Lavender Street. Other operators include
Transtar,Grassland,Konsortium, Gunung Raya,etc.An economy ticket cost about S$15.If you
decide to do so,please book the bus tickets way in advance.
Puduraya Information Desk 03-20700145 (only useful to get numbers of bus companies,or
location of tickets counters etc.,not really useful for bus schedules). Transnasional (national bus
company): 03-20703300.
At Puduraya Bus Terminal,go up the staircase you’ll come to the second floor.Go right and in
the left corner you’ll find all kind of ticket offices.With so many different counters offering same
destination,it is a bit tricky to make a choice.Prices are basically the same but the state of the
bus are sometimes different & schedules vary.When you’ll have purchased your bus ticket
you’ll have to go down to the ground floor,go down the staircase to your platform.On this floor
you’ll have to find the right platform,where your bus will depart.Alternative way is by plane.It is
faster.There are direct flights from Singapore to Kota Kinabalu.$$$ saving tips-Many fly between
KK & Johor Bahru en route to Singapore as fares are considerably cheaper.Airlines operating at
the airport are Malaysia Airlines & AirAsia.Check out the websites for fares.
Take the express bus from Queen Street Bus Terminal to Larkin Bus Terminal in Johor
Bahru.The bus fare is about S$1.60 & operates from 5.20am to 12.10am.Remember to keep
your tickets after boarding the bus.After clearing your luggages,show the bus driver your old
ticket & you do not need to pay for the bus fares again.Alternatively,you may board the
Singapore-Johor Express from Queen Street. Each trip cost about S$2.40.The Singapore-Johor
Express will be faster as it does not stop along the way.Note: For both bus No.170 and
Singapore-Johor Express,remember to take your luggage with your when you alight at the
immigration & customs points,as the buses will not wait for you.Take 170 all the way to the end
terminal.Take a cab from Larkin Bus Terminal to Senai International Airport.Senai International
Airport: located 28 km.It is about 35 Malaysian Ringgit from the Malaysian side at Johor Bahru
to the airport.

whats the best way to go to Kinabalu Backpackers Lodge w/c is in Lot 4 Lorong Dewan, Kota

I want to stay near this Centrepoint shopping mall in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. Other than Imperial
international hotel which is opposite, what other hotels ar there? I don’t want Promenade
hotel/apartments in Api Api centre. Please recommend 3* and above hotels that are comfortable
