1. Follow clearly prescribed standard practices to provide general assistance to a
group involved in various quality operations, procedures and document contro l
2. Under specific direction, provide support and operate equipment such as
computers, word processing, graphics, and occasionally, specialized quality
instruments and other equipment
3. Follow established procedures to maintain and update department files such as
contract data information, quality standards, drawings, technical reference files,
and related quality documents
4. Under specific direction, review processes, plans and practices for conformance
to quality requirements
5. Prepare related materials such as sketches, illustrations and drawings
6. Perform basic mathematical calculations and conduct quality operations
occasionally requiring the use of relatively simple quality instruments and other
equipment
7. Refer questionable situations or problems to supervisor or more experienced staff
8. May be assigned to review quality activities and associated problems, under
direction, and present findings to more experienced staff for analyses

2. Read, understand and interpret Blue Prints, Inspection Plans and follow
instructions.
3. Use, interpret and calibrate basic precision measuring gauges.
4. Ability to organize and prioritize with changing requirements
5. Strong attention to detail and ability to work well with others.
6. Strong computer skills, such as Microsoft Office Software Products
(Word, Excel, Access).
7. High school diploma or GED
8. Short-term trades or on the job training
9. Minimum of 1 year experience screw machine or similar industry, or
equivalent combination of education and experience.
