What do we mean by a new era of content consumption? People don’t seek out information any longer, they wait for it to come to them. This is very different than in the past and driven by the overwhelming amount of information available.
Generally we get information because someone told it to us, either in person, or through some form of social interaction. It is only after our curiosity is peaked that we’ll seek out more information.
