Vladimir Voronkov was a Soviet cross-country skier who competed in the 1960s and 1970s. He trained in Moscow and graduated from the Leningrad Institute of Physical Education in 1976. Voronkov won a gold medal in the 4x10km relay at the 1972 Winter Olympics in Sapporo. He also won gold in the 4x10km relay at the 1970 FIS Nordic World Ski Championships. Voronkov achieved other successes, including 5 USSR national titles between 1968 and 1971.
