 the figure of speech used. The basics of adjectives are presented in this unit. The students are
 expected to answer 2 sets of checkup tests and to do poetry reading in class.

 Day 1: The teacher introduces the lesson using ppt.
         (onomatopoeia to cause-effect relationship)
          The teacher conducts checkup test # 1 (10 mins).


 Day 2 : The teacher discusses about poetry reading and about the activity next meeting (individual
            poetry reading in class).       The copy of the poem is given out.


 Day 3: Individual Poetry Reading


 Day 4: Feedback on the previous day activity. The teacher discusses about adjectives.


 Day 5: The teacher continues discussion. The teacher conducts checkup test #2 (until dismissal).


 Accommodations for Differentiated Instruction

    Special Needs          Extend timeline if students are slow learners
    Students               Give descriptive writing as assignments if quite time-consuming as part of test

    Nonnative              After-class tutorial or remedial classes
    Speakers               Weekly posting of new vocab on the bulletin board.
                           More opportunity to talk in English
