- Talking Points: As you refresh your infrastructure, it is easy to expect additional management complexity. Regardless of whether the problem users have is with your Citrix service, your virtualized environment, or voice service, our nGeniusONE platform will help you quickly triage and solve that problem. Arguably, the number one problem facing all IT staff is handling and rectifying poor end-user experience. Despite the many issues which can cause a poor performance, customers still report one problem – “I’m not happy. Things are slow or not working” These four colors on this slide represent four different areas. Network, application, desktop and server. This is not the most exhaustive list. It keeps growing when you add voice to the picture then something else happens. And when you add virtualization to the picture, something else happens; or when you add a Citrix service, and something happens; and this list will keep growing yet the problem will remain to be just one problem. - Talking Points: There are three key value propositions we deliver to the networking champion and a lot more things we do for the application guys also. First is Visibility and Auto Discovery feature. We know your infrastructure – your locations, clients, servers, and network which means we can tell you how much IPv6 traffic is there, where Citrix is running, is the problem with Citrix, how many Citrix servers are there and what other clients communities, what are the VLANs, to the locations, etc. You can’t fix something which you don’t know or see. So we simply leverage the auto discovery part of our product to gain that visibility for you. And ASI has really improved this. Next is Traffic Monitor which is well designed to show bandwidth usage by link and application. For instance we have improved several areas like the TCP IP discovery. Web classification. IPv6 fragmentation, which is a nightmare for people when they move to IPv6. These, plus enhancements to the packet mining interface, are among a host of things we have done to bolstered the value this new technology. Add to this the enhancements made in Key Indicators and Service Monitors, which are truly unique in the industry. Especially for the applications which need to be supported by networking people - like DNS, TACACS, Service enablers, Call Manager, Citrix, etc. There’s a whole set of things which network operations people were not using to manage and monitor that, through Netscout, can now be done with nGeniusONE. These are all the advantages.
