The
Maharashtra
government
formally
signed
shareholder and state support agreements for the
ambitious Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor (DMIC)
project, in Mumbai, on Monday. The project aims at
generating industrial output of Rs 20 lakh crore by 2042.
For February, the HSBC Purchasing Managers’ Index
(PMI) for the manufacturing sector rose to a year’s high at
52.5 points, against 51.4 in January, showed data released
on Monday.
