Step 15: If you want your video to continuously loop then leave the Loop field “True.” If you want to have control over the video then change the value to “false.” Step 16: Close dialog box and your ready to go. Press F5 to see your video in your presentation

Fair Use Exception and Copyright “I’m not a lawyer, I just play one on TV” Fair Use Exception and Copyright: Fair Use Restrictions for Face-to-Face Teaching You are allowed to show video directly from an internet source without permission. You can store it for personal use But, you are not allowed to store video and then show it; at least not without permission You cannot show a full length feature even if it is offered on the internet; at least not without permission However, you can show portions of full length feature without permission (Carter, 1996)
24. Link Rot One reason why you add links to your course materials is to avoid copyright laws and guidelines. You encounter another problem – “Link rot” Links may not be there 50% of links disappear in less than 5 years. (Nilson, 2003) The only way around Link Rot is to make online copies of the materials. Doing this legally requires written permission of the creators of the materials (Nilson, 2003)
