Barbra Streisand recorded a song called “KEEP OF THE GRASS” I love that song. The jest
of the song is you can’t do anything any more. You can’t do this you can’t do that. Every
where you turn there are signs telling us “what not to do”. ”I’m so glad I have my own online
business through Empower Network. Thank Goodness” Here we can be ourselves. Blog about
whatever we choose. You know why? Because David Wood and David Sharpe are free
spirits. I like that a lot since I’m of that flavor too!

Fair is Fair
In all fairness most of the demands are business oriented and I do understand and respect their
view. But, grocery stores, for example. Who want’s a bunch of dogs walking through their
stores all day. BUT, when I see a customer put her or his little dog in a basket and push the little
cutie into the store and no one says a word I’m up in arms. Why! Because, if I walked into that
same store with ‘Sam’ who weighs 130 lbs they would have a fit number one. Sam would have
to be a service dog to enter and since he’s not he’s barred. No matter how sweet or well trained
he is. The reason for the “No dogs allowed” law is for food safety and cleanliness reasons of

2. course. Understandable, I get it. Did you know that it’s against the law to have dogs in beauty
shops too ? Who knew? I get that too, but I’m a firm believer that the rules should apply to
every one and not just a select few. Fair is Fair.
I JUST WANT TO TAKE A
LITTLE NAP! GEEESH!
My favorite #1 gripe of all is “NO OVER NITE PARKING”. Back in
the day you could park where ever you wanted just about. You didn’t bother anyone and no
one bothered you. Now, you will be lucky if you don’t get ticket. I’m on the road a lot. One thing
I can’t do is drive at night. It really scares me, not to mention one of the worst things anyone
can do is drive when their exhausted. I’ll pull over in a minute. I would never, ever want to cause
an accident that would take someone elses life because I pushed it on the road. In the evenings
when all the stores are closed and everyone has gone “nighty night”. “I don’t see the problem”.
When I can just pull over, pull out my little blanket and pillow, Hay, I’m good to go. I have the
best security in the world, Sam & Sadie. I sleep like a baby, wake up refreshed on go on with my
day.
TO MANY RULES
This is what I live by. I don’t hurt another human being on purpose at least. And if I do I will be
women enough to tell them I’m truly sorry and ask their forgiveness. But most importantly “I
WON’T GO TO THE BIG HOUSE” I’m not going to jail for anybody or anything! End of story.
This one I “can” wrap my head around.

I NEED A PARKING SPACE! Enough said!
This is one thing we as business owners will never have
to worry about. We can have all the customers, all the
traffic we want and they will never have to worry about
a place to park when they join our teams. I think you
get my point. There are so many reasons to have your
