2. An Essay is a piece of writing on a particular subject.
It is an original piece of composition.it is the best device to test a
person’s written expression.
An essay consists of a number of paragraphs,all related to one
topic.
Thus a number of well thought,well written and well arranged
paragraphs make an essay.

3. While writing an essay ,the writer must bear 4 points in mind :
 Think about the subject and take down on paper all the facts and ideas
related to the topic.
 Arrange your facts and ideas in the most presentable manner. Once all
your ideas are well arranged, the outline of your essay is ready.
 Following the outline ,write your essay keeping the word limit in your mind.
 Revise your essay before submitting it. Give it finishing touches wherever
required.

5. INTRODUCTION
Write a concise and crisp paragraph that
introduces the topics and sets the tune.
Make the introduction interesting and
striking.

6. Body of the Essay
This part, the middle one, consists of nearly
2/3rd of the length of the total i.e., if the
essay is to be written in 150 words, the
body of the essay will consists of nearly
100 words.

7. Conclusion
Wind up the essay in a few short and
interesting sentences. The last sentence
must read like the natural conclusion of the
whole discussion.
