Nursing Then and Now: Ever Changing with the Times There are many different ways to
describe nursing and why nursing is a profession. Everyone has their own way of describing it.
Not everyone started nursing for the same reason, everyone has their own reasoning. It makes
people unique when they are able to tell their own story of why they wanted to start nursing or
