Prajnya is seeking 300,000 rupees to fund their 2016 campaign against gender violence from November 25th to December 10th. They have been running annual awareness campaigns since 2008, except in 2011, engaging communities in Chennai through workshops, discussions, and online activities to spread knowledge about gender violence. The funds requested would cover 16 days of programming activities, staff salaries, and materials to continue their important work of opening conversations around gender violence.

With your help,
we can continue this work in 2014
The ` 300,000/- we are asking for will cover
the following costs that we anticipate:

estimated at ` 10,000/- per day.

and the stipend of the Media Associate.

If we raise ` 300,000/-

we can enter campaign planning season
confident that we have the resources to
execute the programmes
and activities we want.

The support of individuals is vital
to work like ours.
Each person who contributes in any way
—through money, time, resources,
knowledge, networks—is saying,
“I share these ideals
and I value this work.”
13. http://www.prajnya.in
When we count our supporters,
we take a census of those who believe
that it is time to move towards
a violence-free, gender-just world.
This is social change.
You make it happen with your support.
