2. Background
Management education in India today is at the globalisation and inter connected nature of
cross-roads; the challenges facing both world's economies coupled with rapid and
business schools and MBAs today are far more dynamic changes in financial markets, call for
and of greater complexity than what prevailed a high degree of functional knowledge, a
about a decade ago. Conventional basket of leadership and teamwork skills
management knowledge and communication finely honed to cope with the challenges of
skills which were found sufficient to perform execution and a set of values and beliefs that

of this conference.

Conference
1. To understand the current coverage of innovation in management
education in the country.
2. To provide meaningful insights as to how creativity leads to innovation and
how creativity skills can be taught to business management students.
3. To gain insights into how innovation can be successfully nurtured and
managed in a value-based environment.
4. To share best practices on teaching creativity and innovation
management.
