Have you recently gone through an upgrade or noticed that Agile PLM is reporting incorrect file sizes on attachments? Personally I have only noticed this on upgrades but I imaging there are other scenarios that can cause the situation. Regardless, don't fret, its an easy fix.

Sizes
Using the Fix Vault tool
2. Introduction/Background
Have you recently gone through an upgrade or
noticed that Agile PLM is reporting incorrect file
sizes on attachments? Personally I have only
noticed this on upgrades but I imaging there are
other scenarios that can cause the situation.
Regardless, don't fret, its an easy fix.
My test Agile PLM system is 9.3.1.2 and is on a
windows platform, thus the instructions will show
windows paths.
3. The Fix
Here is how to solve the problem:
1. Unzip E:AgileAgile931agileDomaintoolsFixVault.zip
2. Navigate to E:AgileAgile931agileDomaintoolsFixVault from a command window
3. If you are going to run this in the future, I would suggest making a batch file (fix.bat) that is
similar to the following:
@echo off
setlocal
set PATH=E:jdk1.6.0_32bin;%PATH%
set JAVA_HOME=E:jdk1.6.0_32
set usr=agile
set pwd=tartan
set ifsusr=ifsuser
set ifspwd=agile
set basedir=E:AgileVault
set url=dev-agile9312a:1521:agile9
java -jar FixFileSizeUtility.jar -dburl %url% -dbuserid %usr% -dbpassword %pwd% -ifsuser %ifsusr% -ifspassword %ifspwd%
endlocal
4. Execute the script: fix.bat
