She received her DMD degree from the Univ. of Pennsylvania (Penn) and completed a rigorous graduate program in Prosthodontics at the Univ. of Washington. While continuing to treat patients in the clinic since 1993, she received faculty appointments at Penn and the Nova Southeastern University, teaching and mentoring pre-doctoral and post graduate level students on their way to becoming future dentists and specialists. She has served both as reviewer and published author in peer-reviewed journals, and conducted numerous lectures and seminars for practicing dentists and students in the US and abroad. COURSE OBJECTIVES : To present treatment planning considerations for the restorative patient and to develop guidelines to enhance clinical predictability. SYNOPSIS: Restorative challenges can be controlled and be made to be more predictable by planning the treatment out according to what the patient presents with. Identifying esthetic, biologic, structural or functional problems will influence the type of restoration you choose to provide for your patient. Diagnosing the problem is the key to a successful outcome.
