CoderDojo Belgium is a non-profit organization started in 2013 to teach coding skills to children across Belgium on a volunteer basis. It is run by founders from the technology industry and aims to share knowledge and foster teamwork. Regular dojo sessions are held monthly with 40 kids and 10 coaches teaching skills like Scratch, Arduino, and web development. The organization has grown significantly since starting with over 900 coaches and 800 subscriptions, but faces challenges in finding more coaches and reaching more children, especially those from vulnerable backgrounds.
