හශෝ ආමා඾හේ ඇති ද්රව්ය ඉලත් කිරීමට භාවිතා කෂ ශැකිය.

 Basal skull fracture - හිව් කබ඼ කැඩීම
 Maxilla facial disorders - මුහුහේ ආබාධ
 Nasal/Pharyngeal/oesophageal obstruction - අලහිරතා

 Lubricating jelly or water
 NG plaster or tape
 pH testing strips

 Explain procedure to patient & gain verbal consent
 Gather equipment needed, wash hands
 Position patient in upright position if able
 Estimate the length of tube using ‘NEX’ measurement
