- 6. Value to End Users Calculate a fertiliser replacement value for a specific material: ~ยฃ300/ha for compost applied at 35 t/ha (247 kg/ha N, 138 kg/ha P2O5, 140 kg/ha K2O Nutritional value often โsellsโ the material to the farmerโฆ
- 7. Added value to End Users โข Organic matter, not so easily quantified in ยฃ, but a key benefit โข Reduces reliance on fertilisers โข Can add a liming benefit โข Can add micronutrients โข Promotes working partnerships โข Promotes sustainability and the waste hierarchy
