Employment History
October 2013 – present. Compass group Tesco Stourbridge
Food service assistant:
My duties primarily involve, cooking meals, cleaning work area, as well as serving customers, helping
team leader and manger direct work flow for maximum efficiency in both speed and quality of food
provided.
I was moved from the customer café to the staff canteen where I serve the Tesco staff meals; keep work
place and canteen area clean.
My duties involve till work, helping team leader with stock control, recording waste, and keeping due
diligence book up-to-date and have been tasked several times with training of new staff members
I have worked regularly on night shifts on my own, having to create main meals for the night staff as
well as preparation for the day staff, general maintenance and cleaning of our equipment and canteen
area.
More recently I have been doing team leader duties, which in addition involve directing workflow with
the staff. Opening and closing the canteen kitchen, liaisoning with Tesco personnel, placing orders and
stock transfers from shop floor to the canteen

Customer advice worker;
My role involved myself out-reaching to members of the public as well as businesses in order to gather
information for our company database.
With this in mind within teams we would tailor make community projects, providing services towards
our targeted audience.
I personally headed a team working towards an all-encompassing seminar; within our team we helped
each other using our own individual areas of knowledge and research.

Part time art technician;
My duties involved catering materials and supplies to staff and students alike.
I spent time aiding the senior technician in his daily duties such as making ready displays and exhibits for
open days.
I worked closely with the students and teaching staff in order to help with various individual projects
and use of hazardous equipment and materials.

Customer service/key holder;
My duties involved looking after customer base by providing light refreshments and informing
customers on new machines and promotions.
I would aid the senior staff with regular empting and re-filling of the machines.
On several occasions I was acting key holder, left in charge of substantial float, and other staff as well as
looking after customers and dealing with any problems or complaints.
