2. Disclaimer
• These slides were produced to present at the O2 Innovation
Day (16-Mar-2009) as part of a mock “Dragon’s Den”
competition. I was invited to present on this theme and be an
advocate for the idea, as if pitching it for serious
consideration by the operator. So, consider this more of a
thought experiment to provoke thought and discussion. I am
a big believer in the future of virtual worlds and virtual
technologies, but I am not convinced at all that O2 or any
mobile operator has much of a role in the virtual/augmented
reality ecosystem at present. Feel free to agree or disagree.
