Wireless communication refers to transferring information between two points not physically connected. Mobile communication does not require a physical connection between sender and receiver and allows movement between locations during communication. Higher bandwidth enabled by wireless technologies allows new applications like enhanced gaming, video calls, TV broadcasting, and video conferencing. However, implementing wireless networks requires high infrastructure costs and spectrum licensing fees, and there are concerns about health impacts and prices of 3G phones and services remaining high.
