OVERVIEW
Every supply chain is composed of a set of a virtuous or vicious
circle; deficiencies in one area cause or reinforce weaknesses
in other parts of the chain. The notion that a supply chain will
fail to demonstrate significant and sustainable system–wide
improvements from staggered initiatives, offered a new way of
looking at a supply chain –as an integrated whole, not as a set
of individualised and independent processes. Hence, supply
chain is deftly calibrated only to the extent each part of the
chain triggers a virtuous circle in the next.
It is in this light that this course is designed to enhance existing
value chains and creating new propositions through networks
that are not just leaner but more agile and responsive to
customers’ demand, either external or internal.

understanding of supply chain operations.

CURRICULUM
This course is designed to enhance existing value chains and
creating new propositions through networks that are not just
leaner but more agile and responsive to customers’ demand,
either external or internal.
WHO TO ATTEND
This Programme will provide an overview of supply chain
management (SCM) for professionals with little formal SCM
training who are exposed to the supply chain on a regular basis.
Managers from other functions (such as marketing finance etc)
who want to improve their understanding of the supply chain will
also greatly benefit from this programme.
