6. TARGETS & LIMITS
• 1.5ºC global warming limit.
• Greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions peak (stop increasing and switch to a decline) from 2015.
• CO2 emissions reach zero by 2050, with all fossil fuel energy replaced by clean renewables.
• Zero deforestation by 2020

7. POLICIES & MEASURES
Protect and manage forests
• P romote sustainable agricultural practices
• Ensure food security across the world is not hampered with these efforts
• Address externalized costs – taking into account the true costs of our current energy system
that result from
- air and water pollution from the associated mining, combustion, and waste disposal;
- significant freshwater use;
- permanent land disfiguration;
- infringement of human rights; and
- worker and public health and safety impacts

8. POLICIES & MEASURES
• Fossil fuel carbon trading does not work
• Binding renewable energy targets
• Phasing out fossil fuel subsidies
• Establishing support schemes, such as feed-in tariffs, long-term government contract auctioning,
Dpreferential grid access for renewables, and citizen ownership of renewables
• Adopt strict efficiency standards for all energy-consuming appliances, buildings and vehicles
• Deployment of smart meters and intuitive grids
