Opening remarks, were you have "Mild"
sentences as you have "Strong" sentences.
Closing remarks, over here you will have too
"Mild" sentences/ endings, as you will have
"Strong" sentences/ endings.
3. Mild & Strong in both parts.
What does MILD means?
In my own words, MILD is like a quiet way to
communicate you problem or whatever you
want.
What does STRONG means?
I would say that STRONG is like a rude way
to communicate with the Letter/E-mail
receiver.
In the next slide i would show you some
examples and the useful language.
4. Examples for STRONG
When you have to write an opening remark
its better to use this vocabulary:
● I was apalled at.
● I want to express my strong
dissatisfaction with.
● I feel i must protes because of.
● I am writing to complain about.
That is an excellent STRONG vocabulary
to open a remark.
5. STRONG vocabulary for closing
remarks.
● I insists you to replace the item at once.
● I demand a full refund.
● I hope that i will not be forced to take
further action.
● etc.
6. And with mild vocabulary to
opening remarks.
● I am writing to complain about.
● I am writing on account of.
● I am writing because of.
● I am writing on the subject of.
● I am writing to draw your attention to.
● I am writing you in connection with.
7. And finally but not least, Mild
vocabulary for closing remarks.
● I hope ...
● I assume you will replace ...
● I trust the situation will improve ...
● I hope the matter will be resolved.
● I hope we can sort this matter out
amicably.
