6. That’s why they suck!
• Managers love them… and Developers hate
them

7. Why (supposedly) you need them?
• Roadmap purposes?
• “Go / No Go” to create something?
• To have deadlines?

8. Stop focusing on the wrong thing!
• Estimates don’t mean a lot
• Estimates don’t bring value
• Don’t decide based on hunches
• Decide on ROI and Profit
• When was the last time
something was aborted
because the team told that it
was going to take too long?
