[object Object],[object Object],[object Object],[object Object],[object Object],[object Object],[object Object],BRUISING First asses DRABC then continue to -Primary management technique this includes an ice pack on the injured area for 20 min then off for 2hrs for next 24-48 hours depending on how server the bruise is. Note internal bleeding may have occurred so it patient is complaining of soreness and pain deeper underneath skin call an ambulance.

Reassure them and keep still monitor of victims vital signs. Make sure : the person does not move :if bleeding continues add another pad and bandage. :you supply supplemental oxygen if possible :seek medical attention if required

Incisions are cuts with smooth edges they can be caused by being cut with a knife glass or sharp edges on metal. [object Object],Avulsions BURNS A burn is made from something hot . There are many different types of burns they usually range from 1st degree to 3rd degree they can be made from this such as the sun or fire. ,[object Object],[object Object],[object Object],[object Object],[object Object],[object Object],First asses primary survey DRABC then d then cool the effected area only with cold flowing water for 20min. Remove all jewellrey from area but don’t peel of adherent clothing, elevate burn and cover with sterile lint free dressing supply oxygen if possible. if needed call an ambulance

Other abdominal problems include. ,[object Object],[object Object],[object Object],[object Object],[object Object],[object Object],[object Object],Signs -vomiting -bulge of swelling (hernia) Symptoms -feeling bloated or wind -pain comes and goes Assess DRABC and then if patient is in mild discomfort place in comfortable position usually with knees bent towards chess . A hot water bottle to sore area may help if pain goes for more than 30min or server patient should be medically assisted, if pain comes back or hernia an ambulance should be called. Hiatal hernia Kidney stones
