Exxon Mobil, the world's largest publicly traded oil producer, said on
Monday it would invest $20 billion through 2022 to expand its chemical

coming decades, according to a new report.
Issues:
- Access to lithium and Vanadium (limited reserves)
- Storage requires lightweight material
- There are no complete substitutes for petrochemicals
- Grid ability to handle plug in stations
