 An engineering professional, Paul Katsus spends much of his spare time
contributing to community organizations like the United Way and the United Heart
Fund. Houston resident Paul Katsus also likes to spend his time on the water in
search of his next big catch.

 Houston fishermen have a variety of options for where to set their hooks. Located
right off the Gulf of Mexico and Galveston Bay, Houston boasts a myriad of
saltwater fish throughout the year. Within an hour’s drive lies Galveston Bay. Trout,
such as whiting and sand trout, are readily available on both the east and west
sides of the bay. In addition, the bay’s western side is home to redfish, black drum,
and sheepshead. Fishermen interested in tarpon can find them on the beachfront
during the summer, while kingfish and sharks inhabit waters just offshore.

 Just an hour away is Freeport. Like Galveston Bay, sand trout and sheepshead dwell in
the waters around the reefs. Fisherman looking to score a catch should use shrimp or a
D.O.A. shrimp lure as bait. Other varieties of fish located in Freeport are kingfish and
