Story Board- the first six shoots
The Start The first shot I thought was to have someone in bed and waking up as soon as the music is being played and because I am trying to make it story like, also this idea came from the original video but completely different as I am focused solely on one actor/actress and as the music starts the person will wake up as it’s a normal, average day it makes it realistic so the audience can relate to it as well. Furthermore, the expression on the face of the person could be to open eyes as soon as the music starts so it links back to the music and again the start. As the person is in the bed I have to think about clothing and ideal realistic clothing would be to wear pyjamas. Then a cut to the next shot.
2nd Shot The second shot maybe have the person opening the curtains and hopefully would like it to be a sunny day as it would be very ironic the person having a bad day on a sunny day to add a bit of humour to the video and still making it realistic as a bad day can happen at anytime and the shot is behind the person so it adds focus to the sunshine and the irony. However this could just be prolonging getting up and I may lose the audiences attention and may get bored as they know what's going the person is getting up. Again person is still in pyjamas also the music is still going on at this point. Cut to next shot.
3rd Shot This shot is a tracking shot of the actor/actress which again shows a link between the audience and the person and tracking the actor/actress into the bathroom which again could be prolonging the getting up period of a realistic average day but with it its able to have a flowing story in the video which is what I am trying to do the shot is again behind the person. The actor/actress is still in the pyjamas, and the music is still going on. Cut to the next shot.
4th Shot This shot is behind the person in the bathroom looking at the mirror but this time we will see the persons face as we can see the person bad hair and its messy and this will be the first time we will see part of the bad day also the mirror can be used as a symbol as thinking and reflecting on themselves also the first time see the emotions of the person and see what they are feeling again finding a link between audience and the person able to relate. Music carries on. The person will be in pyjamas and the facial expressions are looking a little mad or frustration. Cut to the shot.
5th shot The 5th shot is behind the person back in the bedroom looking at clothes again following this normal day story and picking clothes is an important part of the day as the clothes as they can also show the mood of someone and the person will be taking some time to pick as it shows how the actor/actress cant be bothered. Also its part of a realistic day again showing some realism. The clothes the person chooses should be boring colours or something very basic and casual not all bright and glitter etc. Cut to the nest shot.
6th Shot The sixth shot is the person coming down stairs and is now ready for the day again a realistic day of every person also this shot is a tracking shot as it follows the person down the stairs so the audience can relate back the story which are the lyrics and that the fact everyone does this everyday maybe going down the stairs will follow the beat if the actor/actress is going in the same slow beat which again links to the lyrics. The person should be in the average clothes and walking down not looking happy maybe a little moody which again relates to people as getting up is a hard part the day. Cut to next shot.
