Hello, this is your quiz-friend Partha Gupta. Over the years I have conducted
so many quiz contests and got your illustrious presence and appreciation. In
this grim situation of Lockdown due to Covid- 19, I have started an online quiz
series in my Facebook page titled ‘Theme Quiz Journey’ which has been going
on since 10th May, ‘20 the birthday of ‘Father of Indian Quiz’- Neil O’Brien.
So, I am going to place a Special Theme Quiz (10 qsn.) in my FB link:

So friends, gear up to answer the questions as the earliest!

 In this set you will get 10 questions. Firstly, try to answer them. All the answers have a
centralized connection. When you connect the answers, will automatically get the theme or
centralized answer. For each correct answer of the regular question you will get 5 points each. If
you crack the theme, will be rewarded with the same bonus points i.e; 50 points. Make sure about
the 100% correctness of the theme answer otherwise, your score sheet will be nullified! Read
through the questions first and try to answer them and finally check out the explanations of the
theme.

1. John D. Rockefeller reportedly made his first large donation for public

4. On September 11, 1893 the Parliament of the World's Religions opened at Chicago,
USA. This event was organized to celebrate the 400th anniversary of the discovery of
America by Christopher Columbus. Barack Obama and Rotary international were hailed
from Chicago. Chicago Police fired into a crowd of striking workers on May 1, 1886 killing
4 and wounding many others. On May 4, the Knights of Labour held a peaceful rally in
Haymarket Square to protest the shooting, someone threw a bomb that knocked down 60
policemen, killing one and mortally wounding 6 others. The police fired into the crowd;
many people were killed. The Haymarket Massacre marked the beginning of a worldwide
May Day as a revolutionary Memorial Day. The date of WTC terrorist attack (11th
September, 2001) coincides the day of the Parliament of the World's Religions at Chicago.

5. Swami Vivekananda was born on 12 January, 1863 during the Makar
Sankranti festival.
6. Anushilan Samity was influenced by philosophies as diverse as Hindu Shakta
philosophy, as set forth by Bengali authors Bankim Chandra
Chattopadhyay and Swami Vivekananda.
7. Kanyakumari houses a statue of Swami Vivekananda where he said to have
