Aims
To improve the students’ writing skills
To teach vocabulary related to clothes.
To be able to describe people clothes.
Objectives
To use the language learnt in previous classes.
To practise listening and speaking.
To learn vocabulary of clothes and relate it to colours.
To practise reading comprehension.
Too write a description following a model.
Language needed
Word order: blue jeans (adjective+noun)

Recognition of present continuos (I am wearing/She’s wearing)
Activities
Activities
Activity 1: The teacher will review the
vocabulary of clothes through some
flashcards. She will prompt them with
some questions: “What am I wearing?
What colour is my shirt?”
Activity 2: Students will be given a
written description accompanied by
the drawing of two kids. The teacher
will read it out loud for the children to
listen. Students will be asked to
colour the pictures as the description
says. The teacher will guide them by
reading it once again in little chunks
so that they do it little by little.
Activity 3: What are your favourite
clothes? Students have to draw
themselves and label their favourites
clothes.
Activity 4: Now describe it! Students
have to write a simple description of
their drawing following a model
provided by the teacher on the board.
