1. Harley-Davidson Hyderabad (India) showroom now open
Harley-Davidson, the USA based heavy weight bike maker opened its first dealership
outlet in the country in Hyderabad on Saturday. Now it is known Harley Davidson
Hyderabad Showroom
Though the company has identified dealers in Delhi, Mumbai, Chandigarh and
Bangalore, the outlet in Hyderabad, Banjara Harley-Davidson, became the first to start
operations.
Harley-Davidson (US Based Bike Maker) now is coming in India to set up. They start
with dealership outlet in Hyderabad, as Banjara Harley- Davidson.
Instead of only Harley Davidson Hyderabad Showroom, The company is planning to
setup the outlets in Delhi, Mumbai, Chandigarh, and Bangalore.
NT Ramarao, Telugu film actor inaugurated the first outlet. Anoop Prakash, Managing
Director, Harley-Davidson India said “We will launch our bikes in other cities before the
end of this year”. He further said that this bike make is best suitable for Indian roads
because of its weight and roughness.
Last year, 700 bikes of all types of brands were sold in Indian market. Now they are
coming here having long term plan of twenty years with having good investments in
hand.
He also told that all bikes are made in the USA and now shipped to India. The booking is
started by the company for the bikes since April this year and there is no waiting period.
The cost of bikes is between Rs 7 lakh and Rs 35 lakh. It may be good surprise for bike
lovers.
