3. How Do I Love Thee? Elizabeth Barrett Browning How do I love thee? Let me count the ways. I love thee to the depth and breadth and height My soul can reach, when feeling out of sight For the ends of Being and ideal Grace. I love thee to the level of every day's Most quiet need, by sun and candlelight. I love thee freely, as men strive for Right; I love thee purely, as they turn from Praise. I love thee with the passion put to use In my old griefs, and with my childhood's faith. I love thee with a love I seemed to lose With my lost saints, I love thee with the breath, Smiles, tears, of all my life! and, if God choose, I shall but love thee better after death.

4. I am particularly fond of this poem since it expresses the eternal nature of love . Love is one of the most powerful forces in life as it can help us to overcome everything, even death. The simple question, "How do I Love Thee?" the answers to this question may be several so that we have to “count the ways”. Besides, as we all know, there are many kinds of love so answer may vary according to whom you love, when and why you love somebody. The repetition of the phrase "I love thee“ serves as a constant reminder for the lover not loose the path. However, I consider that deepness of love is what is given more emphasis than the quantity of love . The last expression in the last line states that love will be stronger even "after death”. The enduring nature of love allows it to be eternal.

6. I consider it a thought-provoking poem. At the beginning it left me with a bitter feeling but then I realized that we should look forward , accept things as life presents them to us and face them no matter how painful or hard they seem to be. There should be a balance between two lovers otherwise the essence of true love will be lost. If someone decides to forget us, we should also do the same because there is no point on loving someone that doesn't love you the same way. Love should be reciprocal and at the same level. When one is in love expects the same in return, and the only way of going so far with the one you love is loving each other in the same way, not an inch more o less but the same. When this is not possible the best thing one can do is to accept, forget so as to continue growing and feel relaxed and of course allowing the other person to do the same.

7. Because I could not stop for death Emily Dickinson Because I could not stop for Death, He kindly stopped for me; The carriage held but just ourselves And Immortality. We slowly drove, he knew no haste, And I had put away My labour, and my leisure too, For his civility. We passed the school where children played, Their lessons scarcely done; We passed the fields of gazing grain, We passed the setting sun. We paused before a house that seemed A swelling of the ground; The roof was scarcely visible, The cornice but a mound. Since then 'tis centuries; but each Feels shorter than the day I first surmised the horses' heads Were toward eternity.

8. This poem made me reflect upon Death . Death is something that human beings strongly care about. So, I decided to include this poem to show that it should not be like that. We should not fear death at all since life is so great that we must enjoy every minute in our lives and that, only that will drive us to immortality . We will be left with the feeling of being alive still after dying physically. The important thing I want to highlight is that we should long for not dying emotionally since after that no more is left and life is pointless .

10. In my opinion the key concept in this poem is maturity . I consider this poem so deep that every time I read it I find different meanings. From the moment we are born we are the only creators of our own story . We come alone to this world and we part alone too. I strongly believe that for this reason we should find ways of connecting to ourselves in order to find our essence and enjoy life. No matter how good or bad the changes we undergo are, they, for sure, will allow us to grow and to know ourselves better. I feel a complete woman so that’s why I will not surrender and I will go further no matter how dreadful situations will be .

Did you think that the anthology had finished? … As I said before, we are the only creators of our own story so that’s why I want to share with you my last poem which I wrote myself at the beginning of the academic year using a pattern poem. Here, Mu intention was to express my inner feelings, thoughts and emotions . Writing the poem provided me with the opportunity to show you how I feel at this moment of my life and also to offer you the chance to get to know me better since this poem is a very personal and intimate piece of writing portraying some features of my personality The interpretation now will be yours … I hope you enjoy it

12. A Rational And An Emotional woman Pamela Jullier I am both a rational and an emotional woman. I wonder if I'm taking the right path. I hear the acrid smell of my soul. I see the gruff voice of my mind. I want to be an educator. I am both a rational and an emotional woman. I pretend to be strong I feel the tense whispers of my thoughts. I touch the sadness of my tears. I worry that some day there'll be no love. I cry when I feel oddly lonely. I am both a rational and an emotional woman. I understand that the world won't be as I' ve always imagined. I dream about blissful smiles on human faces. I hope to teach and learn forever. I am both a rational and an emotional woman .
