2. What is CCTV ?
O Closed circuit television (CCTV) is the use
of video cameras to transmit a signal to a
specific place on a limited set of monitors.

5. Indoor cameras
Indoor camera as its name suggests used for
indoor security mechanism. These are suitable for
security in home ,school , offices, hotels, ets.

6. Outdoor cameras
O Outdoor camera is used for outdoor
places . They are mostly used for entry
and exist point with limited night lighting.
These cameras have hard shell vandal
proof casings/ wether proof casing.

7. IR day / night cameras
O IR day/night cameras are used for high
alert security areas were surveillanse
needs to happened day and night

8. Pan Tilt Zoom (PTZ) cameras
O These type of CCTV cameras allow a
person controlling the surveillanse of an
area to move the camer remotely,usually
with an RF or wired conroller.

recorded footage.

O A DVR (Digital Video Recorder) with a
hard drive which will record and allow
playback of the video footage.
