ENERGY STAR-Developed by the U.S. EPA, the program has created energy performance rating systems, on a scale of 1 to 100, as a means for benchmarking the energy efficiency of specific buildings and industrial plants against the performance of similar facilities. www.energystar.gov LEED-The Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Green Building Rating System, developed by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), provides a suite of standards for environmentally sustainable construction and is currently positioned as the acknowledged standard recognizing high-performing buildings. LEED provides building owners and operators with the tools needed to have an immediate and measurable impact on their building. LEED promotes a whole-building approach to sustainability by recognizing performance in five key areas of human and environmental health: sustainable site development, water savings, energy efficiency, materials selection and indoor environmental quality. There are various rating systems for different types of developments. These developments include schools, retail, healthcare, homes and so on.

Spots saved for cars that run 35 mph and under
